$7.725 million for courthouse renovations


MONTROSE, Colo. (KFQX) – The historic Montrose County Courthouse has been a community anchor for 100 years. Thanks to Colorado Senator John Hickenlooper, funding for the renovation of the courthouse is accelerated.

Senator Hickenlooper has requested funding for renovation projects across Colorado through the Congressional Directed Spending (CDS) process.

The Montrose County Courthouse will receive more than $7 million for renovations.

The construction cost of the project is estimated at $13.1 million.
