Aeyon eyes expansion of federal technical capabilities with MTS and Marick Acquisitions

Aeyon, a portfolio company of Enlightenment Capital, has acquired Manufacturing Technical Solutions and Marick Group for an undisclosed amount as part of a push to expand its technical capabilities in support of national security and civilian missions.

Aeyon CEO Sunny Singh said in a Monday statement that MTS and Marick bring complementary capabilities to the company and expand Aeyon’s presence as a provider of innovative platforms to help customers accelerate their decision-making abilities.

“The combination of these businesses will provide greater growth opportunities and maximize options for our employees,” Singh added.

Since 2001, MTS has provided NASA and Department of Defense customers in Huntsville, Alabama with expertise in engineering and science, information technology, program and logistics.

Marick, established in 2007, is a provider of cloud-based human capital management and training platforms.

Aeyon provides robotic process automation, program management, data analytics and management consulting services to federal government clients. The Northern Virginia-based company also supports cloud-based modernization and major systems implementation initiatives in the defense, space and civilian markets and has more than 650 employees with a broad presence in Huntsville.

Aeyon was launched in September after the merger between Artlin Consulting and Enlightenment Capital’s Sehlke Consulting.

Kroll acted as exclusive financial advisor to MTS in connection with the transaction. Truist Securities acted as exclusive financial advisor to Marick.
