Ajax have rejected Manchester United’s latest offer worth €90million for Antony, leaving the Brazilian disappointed as he continues to press for a move.
According fabrice romano, Ajax have incredibly rejected a mammoth €90m bid from Manchester United for their top target Antony. The Brazilian winger has opened up on his disappointment with the Dutch side and still wants to join the Red Devils before the transfer deadline.
Manchester United’s pursuit of Antony rumbles as the Premier League giants have yet to find a viable deal with Ajax for the Brazilian winger. The 22-year-old remains Erik ten Hag’s main target but the club can’t break the will of the Dutch side.
Manchester United have seen at least two to three big offers rejected for their main target by Ajax so far, and relations between the two clubs remain strained. There have been several talks between the two clubs but none has resulted in an agreement so far.
Ajax rejected a mammoth €80m offer earlier as they insisted Antony was not for sale. However, the player has since pushed for a move to Old Trafford, as Ajax continued talks with Manchester United.

Manchester United have submitted a €90m bid, hoping to complete the move. But Ajax have once again rejected the proposal as they could ask for a higher fee. It is understood that they are looking for at least €100m for Antony and have pointed out numerous factors.
For starters, Ajax can point to the time remaining in the window to bring in a substitute. However, Antony is pushing for a move and recently revealed a lot in an exclusive interview with Fabrizio Romano. He thanked the Ajax fans and insisted he was ready for a new challenge.
Manchester United will return to the drawing board and are likely to find a way to appease Ajax, having already agreed personal terms with Antony. There is less time left in the window as it is, which is rapidly shrinking.
With the player eager and publicly urging Ajax to let him go, the Dutch outfit appear to be taking a considerable risk in this transfer saga. Although multiple reports suggest, talks are continuing between the clubs, although it’s unclear whether Manchester United will return with a new offer.
In that case, Ajax would have ended up turning down a gigantic offer for a player who will remain unhappy for the coming season. It remains to be seen whether they will receive offers of around €90million next summer, although Manchester United hope to complete the transfer in the coming days.
