Reston-based consulting firm Counter Threat Solutions LLC has acquired Stafford-based Quantitative Analytics LLC, completing its second acquisition, CTS announced Thursday.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

CTS is a consulting firm that provides subject matter experts to the intelligence and defense communities. Both are small businesses owned by disabled veterans. Founded in 2011, Quantitative Analytics provides program management, data analytics, logistics and flight operations, and financial management services to government, military, and commercial clients.

“The talent, experience and commonalities of our customer base make this merger a logical combination of our two businesses,” CTS CEO Theresa Keith said in a statement. “Quantitative analysis complements our existing management consulting services and…expands our capabilities…particularly within the intelligence and defense communities.”

Quantitative Analytics President and CEO Robert J. Darling will assume operational roles within CTS. Darling is a 20+ year veteran of the US Marine Corps who flew attack helicopters in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm.

Darling said in a statement: “[Theresa’s and my] our shared ability to bring creative solutions and professional resources to solve our clients’ most complex challenges will allow our legacy to live on within CTS.
