Noida News: Major accident at Noida building under construction, worker killed and 4 injured due to broken crane cable

Naida: At a building under construction in Sector 132, Noida, around 11 a.m. on Friday, a rope suddenly broke while lifting materials with a crane. Five workers suffered from this painful accident, one of whom died and four were seriously injured. The injured are treated at the nearest hospital.

A major accident took place around 11 a.m. on Friday morning at Trillian project of Krishna Build State Company located in Sector 132 of Noida. In a building under construction, building materials were being lifted by a crane. Then suddenly the crane cable broke, due to which the crane fell with the goods. Five workers who worked there were buried in the accident, including Santosh Yadav, 22, a worker, died during treatment and four workers were seriously injured. The condition of the workers admitted to the hospital is said to be critical.

The police are investigating the accident
ADCP Noida Ashutosh Dwivedi said construction work on the tower is underway at Krishna Build State Company’s Trillian Project in plots 11, 12 and 13 located in Sector 132 under Noida Police Station 126. Where building materials were moved up and down using cranes. Then, suddenly, the cable of the crane carrying the goods broke, resulting in five workers being injured when the crane fell. During processing, a worker died, whose name is said to be Santosh Yadav. Four workers are seriously injured and the police are currently investigating the whole matter.
