By Ruben Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) issued a notice on Tuesday reminding motorists that the Crooked Tree Roundabout is now fully open to traffic.

‘Road users are reminded that the Crooked Tree Roundabout is now fully open to traffic and are advised to cross the circle correctly, drive with caution and follow all road signs,’ said the MIDH.

The Crooked Tree Roundabout is part of MIDH’s ongoing roadworks along the Philip Goldson Expressway and Remate Road Bypass. The Ministry of Infrastructure Development said the project is expected to be completed by August 2023.

And considering that when roads are laid out there’s quite a bit of speeding, MIDH has some advice for drivers.

“MIDH appreciates the patience and understanding of the public as it undertakes this work and urges drivers to observe legal speed limits, be courteous to pedestrians and other road users and refrain from drive under the influence,” MIDH said. .
